Eet will pay promptly upon installation... especially since she is being blamed for shedding CAT HAIR when she is not even a cat! Cats, monsters, and rogue shipmates will be banned from Eet's room

In fairness, you were contaminating me with cat hair. Alien or not, you are partly the body of a cat, and cats contaminate things.

It is so very unfortunate I cannot produce a picture of Eet, who is not completely covered with fur, and does not shed (I have never seen or read anything to indicate that Eet sheds). Cats are VERY clean creatures. I have had many cats as pets and they have not contaninated anything I have seen. Certainly cats shed, as summer approaches, and mostly they shed the downy underfur (which is quite annoying). Eet does not have downy underfur.
I would think any spaceship would have to have an air purifier, which would contain a filter... Especially a ship which carries expensive mechanical equipment! I think you are safe from contamination by particles, anyway.

Hopefully, I don't have to clean the filter...

NO ONE IS GOING TO CLEAN FILTERS. We are going to buy new filters and spend our time, hunting, eating, and growing rich.

Terminator said one of us will have to clean filters for hydraulic systems and... it's not going to be him...

Well, I am Chancellor of the Exchequer (means I run our financial affairs) and we have enough money to buy new. *I* am not cleaning filters, *TERMIE* is not cleaning filters, and *YOU* are not cleaning filters (and I most certainly did not hire you to do menial tasks!) - so
either Darkfire is cleaning filters, we take slaves, we hire someone, or we just buy them new.

EET is cleaning filters.

I don't care who cleans filters, but not me. And not you either, apparently. Eet sounds like the best choice.

Hahahahahaha Eet isn't cleaning Jack Squat. No one cleans filters - people buy a new one and turn the old one in for credit.
Someone, somewhere, either has special equipment to clean them or melts the metal down and makes a new one.
Furthermore, this is an AIR filter! If we could easily clean an AIR filter we could also easily clean the air without bothering with the filtration system. There is no hydraulic fluid in an air filtration system!

Oh, I thought you meant to clean the filters for hydraulic systems.

I, Sir, do not mean to clean ANY filter - but hydraulic filters are in mechanical metal items which have metal moving parts. Such as airplane doors and landing systems and the like.

I don't think Terminator exactly needs a lesson on hydraulics... He beats me at engineering trivia almost every day now!
