The reason electronic stuff malfunctions when it falls in water is because the electrons in the electric current scatter.
Maybe it's possible to channel the water to send all those electrons around in exactly a certain pattern. That way, we could have electricity... in WATER. It would be safer because water is organic.
Do you think this is possible?

Possibly

How would we know if we're channeling it properly? Electrons are so small, they fit inside atoms.

Electrons are part of an atom - they orbit the nucleus as the moon orbits the Earth. The nucleus is comprised of protons and neutrons. In normal atoms the number of electrons is the same as the number of protons. If the electrons are loosely held by atomic forces they are freely passed from atom to atom; this is the "flow" of electricity. It is the chemical nature of water to allow this flow. This is why someone who is standing in water and accidently drops an electric appliance (such as a hairdryer) can be electrocuted. I do not know that the nature of water can be channeled. Another idea is to use the nature of water to allow electrons to pass into something else.

Well, if we can do it, it would be an interesting power source.

Some people in Northern countries, such as Canada, are trying to use moose poop as a fuel source. Apparently moose poop is full of methane - which has strong covalent carbon bonds (like gasoline). What say you to this idea?
