Director Michael Bay has revealed that the sequel to Transformers will feature lot of new, unique robots. Bay wrote on his personal web site: Transformers 2 will be coming soon. The new robots are really really unique and there are a lot of them this time. Well before the first movie hit theaters, the film makers let slip that that Dinobots and Constructicons may be some of the groups that will appear in a potential sequel. A short video clip found on www.sectorseven.org, (enter "codeblack," click on the red hard drive, choose the N.B.E. 08 file) shows Dinobots leader Grimlock in his T-Rex form, crushing everything on his path. The excavator on the left could be Scavenger, from the Constructicons. Futhermore, producer Tom DeSanto said in an interview that he has "a very cool idea on how to intro the Dinobots and Constructicons." Considering the ending of the first movie, we are pretty sure that we'll get to see Shockwave and otherrobots that have survived at Cybertron. What Autobots and Decepticons characters would you like to see in Transformers 2? My friend found this last night so I though I should share, .

I heard from a friend on a Transformers fan site that Starscream announces himself as the new commander, but Soundwave thinks he can resurrect Megatron if he gets this alien artifact thing which Starscream is also going after.

They have alt. modes. They turn into Cybertronian vehicles, Optimus before he scanned that Peterbuilt originally turned into a flying turd...I mean...comet. He resembles a vehicle on Cybertron. I'm not so sure about a TF2, could be a hoax, Dreamworks and Paramont are splitting up, there might be one for 2009 or 2010, Michael Bay likes to lead people astray. As for the Dinobots and Constructicons, yeah, they might be in the second one. I hope they put Shockwave in TF2.

There have been rumors. Probably for 2009, but if Dreamworks and Paramont have split up, it might taker longer.

I didn't even know they were together, lol.
It'll probably take longer anyway, because of the advanced computer-generated imaging.

No, not that. That takes no time. Maybe a few months, I think it's something about the budget.

Paramount bought Dreamworks in December, 2005, for 1.6 Billion. Before that, Dreamworks films were distributed by Paramount worldwide. This deal was final and publically announced December 11, 2005.
Dreamworks ANIMATION remained a separate company.
There was an article in BusinessWeek, July 19, 2007, about a possible divorce between the two but it has nnot happened. Speilberg owned Dreamworks films and still owns Dreamworks Animation. Personally, I see no reason for any break-up between them; Spielberg likes to make movies and the merger between Dreamworks Films and Paramount allows him to do this.
